Zoho CRM is a full CRM from a company with a large family of apps, and by Zoho's pricing page it has a free edition for up to three users. Facto Lite's CRM is smaller. It covers leads, scheduled follow-ups, deals and quotations, and it sits beside Tasks and HR & Payroll on one login.
Choosing a Zoho CRM alternative for a small sales team
A small sales team in India usually needs three things from a CRM: every enquiry has an owner, every lead has a next step with a date, and a quotation with GST goes out the same day. Zoho CRM does all three, and much more besides. The question is whether you want the more.
Zoho prices its CRM per user a month, in editions that add features as you go up. Facto Lite's CRM is one module priced for a band of up to 10, 50 or 100 users, so the bill doesn't change when a new salesperson joins inside the band. Neither model is better in general. Per user favours a team of three; a band favours a team of twelve.
A quotation, worked through
A water-tank distributor in Surat quotes a housing society for four tanks, installation kits and a maintenance visit, at 18% GST. The figures below are what our free quotation generator works out, line by line:
| Item | Quantity and rate | Taxable value |
|---|---|---|
| Stainless steel water tanks, 1,000 L | 4 × ₹18,500, less 5% | ₹70,300.00 |
| Installation kits | 4 × ₹1,200 | ₹4,800.00 |
| Annual maintenance visit | 1 × ₹6,000 | ₹6,000.00 |
The taxable value comes to ₹81,100.00. Inside Gujarat, the tax splits into CGST and SGST of ₹7,299.00 each, and the quote comes to ₹95,698.00. Quoting a society in Maharashtra instead, it's IGST of ₹14,598.00, and the same ₹95,698.00.
