Everything it does

One system for the work, the customers and the people who do it.

Below is the whole of it. Nothing here is coming soon — it is what an account opens with on the first day of the trial.

Open

Tasks and delegation

Work given to somebody, with a date and somebody to check it.

  • Tasks with an owner, a due date, a priority and a reviewer
  • Sub-tasks, dependencies, watchers and comment threads
  • Photo and file evidence on a task, and an approval before it closes
  • Projects and teams, so work can be grouped the way the company is
  • Task templates for the jobs that come round the same way every time
Open

Checklists

The recurring work nobody should have to remember to hand out.

  • Checklist templates with items, categories and evidence requirements
  • Daily, weekly, monthly and custom recurrence that raises itself
  • One owner or several, with a handover when somebody leaves
  • My Day — everything one person owes today, in one list
  • Meeting notes that turn decisions into assigned, dated actions
Open

CRM

Leads through to an order, with the conversation kept.

  • Leads, contacts, accounts and deals on configurable pipelines
  • Activities and follow-ups, with reminders that reach the owner
  • Quotes and sales orders, with price books and quantity bands
  • Products, categories, brands, units and tax details
  • Assignment rules that route a new lead to the right person
  • No-code workflows, with a run history you can read
  • Forecasts, a report builder and saved reports
  • Partners and channel accounts, for businesses that sell through others
Open

Attendance

From a phone at the site, or a reader at the gate.

  • Check in and out from a phone, with a location and a selfie if you want one
  • Biometric readers — upload the export, or have the reader push each tap
  • Shifts, weekly offs, holidays and a working calendar per company
  • Late marks, penalties, short leave and regularization requests
  • Overtime, with the policy resolved at the end of the period
Open

Leave and people

One record per person, from joining to exit.

  • Leave types, balances, accrual and a leave year you define
  • Approvals that route themselves by manager, role or department
  • Employee records, documents, probation and designation history
  • Company assets issued to people, and recovered when they leave
  • Exits, with a checklist and the handover of anything they owned
Open

Payroll and money

A salary run you can check before you pay it.

  • Salary structures and components, earnings and deductions
  • Statutory deductions — PF, ESI, professional tax and income tax
  • A pre-flight that shows what is wrong before a run is approved
  • Payslips every employee can open, and a bank advice file
  • Expenses, reimbursements, travel claims and staff advances
Across everything

The parts that are the same whichever module you are in.

On every account6 entries
  1. 01

An audit log on every action: who, when, and what it said before

  2. 02

Four roles — Admin, Manager, Operator, Viewer — and per-module permissions

  3. 03

Import from a spreadsheet with a review step, and export from every list

  4. 04

Notifications in the app and a bell that tells you what needs you

  5. 05

Light and dark, on a phone as well as a desktop

  6. 06

A document library, with generated documents filed automatically

What it does not do

The three things worth knowing before you start.

Easier to read now than to discover in week three.

  • There is no online payment. When you decide to buy, somebody from Facto arranges it with you — there is no checkout on this site.
  • Nothing counts seats. The price bands are by team size and we apply them; the software will not stop you adding an eleventh person.
  • Facto Lite does not include production, quality control or maintenance. Those are the bigger Facto, and a different conversation.

Sixty days, all three features, no card.

Bring one list in from a spreadsheet and see whether it holds. That is the whole evaluation.
