A salary run you can check before you pay it.
Salary structures, statutory deductions, a pre-flight that names what is wrong person by person, and a payslip every employee can open. Attendance, unpaid leave, claims and loan instalments arrive in the run by themselves.

Tap the phone to open the live demo.Tap any row. It is a live demo, with demo data.
Three things it is bought to put an end to.
Every month starts from last month’s sheet
The salary file is a copy of the previous one with the numbers changed, and the formula somebody broke in March is still broken in August.
The mistake is found by the person it was made about
A wrong deduction is caught when a payslip is questioned, after the money has gone, and fixed by hand in a month it does not belong to.
PF and ESI are somebody’s memory
Which wages the fund is worked out on, what professional tax applies in which state, who is over the ceiling — answered afresh every month by whoever runs it.

Demo data. Keep scrolling and it walks you through 4 screens, or tap any row, open a record and try it yourself. Everything here is the real interface, drawn small.
One run per month, with what it came to and whether it has been approved.

The whole module, listed out.
Nothing here is coming soon. It is what an account opens with on day one of the trial.
Structures and components
A cost to company is a number; a structure is what turns it into a payslip.
- Earnings you design — Basic, HRA, allowances — and the nine statutory heads created for you: PF, ESI, professional tax, labour welfare fund, TDS and the gratuity provision
- Structures that have to balance, with one line that absorbs the remainder, so a CTC always adds up
- A cost to company per person with the date it takes effect, and a kind of change — joining, increment, promotion, correction — a report can count
- Increments for a whole cohort, previewed before they happen
Statutory
The rates are maintained for you; the choices that are genuinely yours are asked once.
- Provident fund on the first ₹15,000 of wages or on all of them, ESI, and professional tax by the state a person is borne on
- Income tax under either regime, with investment declarations reviewed before they reduce anybody’s tax if you want them to be
- The senior-citizen slab tables applied from a date of birth, so somebody turning 60 is worked out correctly from the April payslip
- Fines and damage recoveries recorded as dated events with the reason the register has to state, never typed into a month
- Bonus: declare a percentage within the Act’s 8.33% to 20%, read who is entitled, and pay it with an off-cycle run
The run
Twelve steps in an order, and six states from draft to paid.
- A pre-flight that reads your whole setup and lists what is wrong, person by person, at three severities — blocks pay, blocks filing, needs attention
- Attendance, unpaid leave, loan instalments and claims routed to salary pulled in from their own modules
- Inputs locked, then a variance review: anyone whose pay moved more than your threshold since last month is flagged
- Submitted by one person and approved by another, then the output locked
- A bank advice file in your bank’s layout, with a named list of anybody it leaves out
- A parallel run for your first month, compared against the payroll you run today before anybody is paid
For every employee
Their own pay, on their own phone.
- Every payslip they have been issued, downloadable, and emailed too if you choose
- Their year to date, their tax regime and the switch between regimes until your deadline
- Investment declarations filed from the app, so monthly tax is right from month one
- Form 16 at year end
Joining and leaving
The two months that are never ordinary.
- A joiner or a leaver part-way through a month worked out on that month’s actual days
- Exits recorded with a last working day, and a final settlement that is a settlement rather than an ordinary run
- Letters — revision, promotion, certificate, bank, verification, probation and the leaver’s statement — from your own letterhead
- A leaver the ordinary run would pay twice is named on the pre-flight before it can

The same documentation the product ships with, published in full. No form, no account.
Easier to read now than to discover in week three.
- Payroll is part of HR & Payroll, not a product on its own. There is no payroll-only plan; the price below is the whole module’s.
- Nothing is filed for you. Facto Lite computes PF, ESI, professional tax and income tax and produces the figures; submitting a return is still yours.
- There is no bank integration. Payroll produces a bank advice file to upload; it does not move money, and it does not read a bank statement back.
- Statutory rules are Indian. The engine is built around PF, ESI, Indian professional tax, the Payment of Bonus Act and the Indian income-tax regimes.
- The concessional-loan perquisite is flagged, not computed. A loan that crosses the threshold is named for your accountant; the figure is theirs to confirm.
